AMBER BAR and BACKSPLASH

For the 2014 renovation of an Upper East Side 20,000 sq. ft. townhouse, Ross Art Studio designed and oversaw fabrication and installation of a cast glass bar and a matching backsplash. Extensive testing went into formulating the exact amber tone that would be optimum both backlit and unlighted. Annabelle Selldorf was the architect on the renovation.

GLASS SLAB SINKS

Off a small hallway inside the main entryway of that same UES house is a pair, opposite each other, of matching powder rooms. Using the hot-pour method we used for the amber bar we produced two 6” thick clear glass slab sinks. That method produces rich organic qualities—in the texture and translucence of the glass—that other hot fabrication processes can’t.

TABLES

RAS makes custom glass and metal tables based on designs by artist Carol Hall, three of which are pictured. Please contact us for information about format, materials, and finish options.

GLASS VANITY

As of September, 2018, we were finishing ten glass panels, of three different sizes and two different colors, cast for a bathroom vanity in an NYC renovation.
