Manolo Valdés

As part of his pioneering work inspired by great European artists of the past, Valdés has made several series of meninas—girls wearing distinctively shaped hooped dresses, known from Velasquez’s 1656 painting of the same name.

We collaborated with Manolo on several glass casts, which join the worldwide family of his meninas, made of various metals, wood, stone, resin.
