MAYA LIN

For nearly a decade, Ross Art Studio has been collaborating with Maya Lin on work which, at once, blends elements of art, architecture and environmentalism.

Wavefields - Shortly after completion in 2009 of her eleven-acre “Storm King Wavefield” in Mountainville, NY, Maya designed, and commissioned RAS to fabricate, an edition of replicas, cast in recycled glass.

Drops - Another project for Maya was this series of highly polished glass drops for a museum installation in Reno, NV, presenting a visual natural history of Lake Tahoe, summer, 2015.  Different versions of this artwork have been shown in various venues, including Pace Gallery, NYC, which represents Maya.
