Ross Art Studio has executed several projects for Robert Gober, many of which were included in the Museum of Modern Art’s 2014 retrospective, “The Heart Is Not a Metaphor”.
After his MoMA exhibition closed, Gober enlisted RAS to cast an edition of lead crystal hearts. The cast heart was used in a work called "Creek Bed", installed at the Fondazione Prada in Milan during the summer, 2015.
“Untitled 2005” (Fruit Bowls) were part of a major installation at Matthew Marks gallery that was purchased by MOMA. The bowls and the paint cans represent classic lost-wax process casting; for Table Talk pie box, very thin glass was slumped over a plaster mold to create a cellophane look.
